New FSS Tax Statuses for 2026
Available Tax Classifications:
- Parental (1 child)
- Parental (2 children +)
- Married (1 child)
- Married (2 children +)
Following the deployment of these changes, please note the following:
Employees with FSS tax status as “Married” & ”Parental” will remain unchanged.
To ensure employees are assigned the correct Parental and Married tax rates, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the Import Template #
- Navigate to the People module.
- Find the Employee in the list and click Import.
- Select Fields ONLY for FSS Status
- Go to the Basic Fields tab, select All employees, and Download the import template.
- This template allows you to make all necessary changes in bulk and upload them back into the system efficiently.

Step 2: Download Area #
- Once the template is Completed, click Download.
- This action will create the Excel template populated with the current employee data.
- Use this template to make the necessary FSS tax status updates in bulk.

Step 3: Downloaded Template
- The downloaded template will include all employees along with their current data.
- Locate the column for FSS Tax Status and update it according to the new classifications:
- Parental (1 Child)
- Parental (2 Children +)
- Married (1 Child)
- Married (2 Children +)
- Ensure all other details remain accurate before saving the file.

Step 4: Upload Process #
- Navigate back to the Employee List/Import menu and choose the Basic Fields option.
- Select the updated Excel file you have prepared.
- Click Upload Import File to initiate the changes.

Step 5: Import Queue #
- Verify update: After the upload and processing is completed, confirm that all employees’ FSS tax statuses are updated in the system.
- Spot-check: Cross-check a few records (employees) to ensure accuracy.
